AAAS Award for Public Understanding of Science and Technology
The AAAS Award for Public Understanding of Science and Technology, established in 1987, recognizes working scientists and engineers who make outstanding contributions to the "popularization of science." The award includes a $5,000 prize and a commemorative plaque.
