Abstract: Richard A. Scribner headed the AAAS Office of Science and Society during the 1970s. These administrative records reflect Scribner's participation on U.S. Department of State panels, his work on the manuscript Energy Policy and the Future of Nuclear Power, and other science policy projects. Scribner served as staff liaison for the AAAS Committee on Science, Arms Control and National Security and director of the attendant AAAS program during the 1980s.
